Why alcohol causes dehydration and thirst??

Alcohol is encouraging the body to lose more water. It has anti-diuretic. So alcohol user feel the need to pee excessively and thirsty.

it has something to do with the ADH right ,, like for example when we drink alot of wine the collecting duct becomes less permable to water because there is no ADH is that a right explnation i dont know thats how i thought :S
