Light absorption and human skin. How do different colors affect the absorption of light into the skin?
More specifically, what would be the potential affects on human skin exposed for a prolonged period to individual colors (Red, blue, green etc.)? Hypothetically if I rigged a couple of lights and put blue translucent sheets over the lights and exposed my body to it for 3-6 hours a day, what would be the effect (if any?) on my body in the future days/weeks/months...?

yes, the opsins in your eyes @questionguy if you somehow manage to filter out the uv, nothing will happen. if you don't filter out the uv, you will get a tan.
