Genes consist of a specific sequence of nucleotides encoded in a DNA. Nucleotides are made up of base, sugar and phosphate. The 4 bases are adenine, guanine cytosine and thymine. Genes are just steps in the ladder of a DNA strand.

I don't think s/he meant this :roll:
S/He probably meant something like promoter, start codon, coding part (splicing sites/introns), stop codon etc.

I think it's not so simple.the cell's really big world.
you should be think more for soving some problem.I sometimes try that:)
