Charles Darwin's evolution theory is out of dateCharles Darwin's seminal Origin of Species first laid out the case for evolution exactly 150 years ago. It is out of date. Do not believe it? check this discoveryhttp://www.labslink.com/ViewResearchNews.aspx?id=1104
Re: Charles Darwin's evolution theory is out of date
Of course his book is out of date... it is 150 years old! Your thread title, however, is misleading. The theory of evolution is not "out of date." Did you even read the link you cited?
Re: Charles Darwin's evolution theory is out of dateIt is a very contradictory post. I would love to have a look at the link where the Darwin's evolution theory is proven out of date. It would be a great pleasure to see the theory that served as the base for many scientific researchers is now being ended on the wrong side. Thanks for the link and would love to have more such links.

Charles Darwin's version of evolution is of course out of date: in the meantime we discovered genetics, biogeography, molecular and cell biology etc. However that does not mean that evolution is out of date - like any scientific theory it is constantly evolving (pun intended) and being revised. Rich Lenski's incredible experiments confirm that evolution happens.
"As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
Re: Charles Darwin's evolution theory is out of dateA scientific theory has been modified and updated in light of new evidence and discoveries over the past 150 years?
Exactly. If anyone is interested in what the modern theory of evolution is really all about and what is even changing now in light of genomic studies, I highly recommend this paper:
"Empathise with stupidity, and you're halfway to thinking like an idiot." - Iain M. Banks
Re: Charles Darwin's evolution theory is out of datei believe the theory of evolution is a scientific body that has a great empirical and objective base under it.
As others have already pointed out, Charles Darwin published his theory 150 years ago and if it weren't out of date by now it would mean biologists have been bloody lazy. The basic mechanism of evolution that he put forward, natural selection, is still valid, however. What's happened is that the theory has been expanded to include other factors, most obviously genetics, that Darwin knew nothing about.
