garden lizardToday I post 3 photos of Calotes versicolor. The first one is a female and the second one is a male in breeding season.
But the third one? Is it a male in non-breeding time owing to seasonal or/and adaptive color variation? How would I know that?
Re: garden lizardNice pics. I went lizard viewing earlier today. All I spotted was a couple of green anoles (Anolis carolinensis) and a Southeastern five line skink (Eumceces inexpectatus). Just getting in a few more herp trips before winter arrives.
Re: garden lizardThank you. As of skinks, there were many around us just a decade ago, but now I fail to find a single one. May be it's all outcome of extensive use of pesticides
