One more cell counting questionOne more question about cell counting.
I am working on calculations for this same lab. The standard I started with was created from 10mL of culture plus 1mL of TCA, so it has a dilution factor of 1.1 I then created a diluted sample from this standard by removing 0.5mL from it, and adding 0.5mL of water to it. Should I take into consideration the dilution factor of the standard (1.1) it was created from when determining the dilution factor for the diluted sample, or would my dilution factor simply be 0.5? Thanks!
