Yet another Nephron questionChloride ions, Cl-, floolow actively transported Na+ ions from the nephron into the blood. Would you not expect the Cl- concentration to decrease as fluids are extracted along the nephron? What causes this discrepancy?
well, it's normal since you have a high quantity of urine which majority contains water, the Cl- concentration will decrease...just remember about 's' (solubility) and 'Ksp' (result of the multiply of solubility)..
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
