wormshi everybody
I was digging up my back yard today and upon lifting up the old door mat that had been covered with grass i found a very weird worm. this worm is about 10 cm long and is black, with a white strip down its back and has a blue belly it also leaves like a slimy trail behind it where ever it goes, almost like a slug not not quite. i was wondering what sort of worm this is, what it does, why it is different than the other ground worms and why there arent any other worms like that. i live in south australia. i just found it strange and i have been looking for some information all over the net and cant find any information about it. if you need a photo i can take one if it would help. thanks for the help people!

They're from a group that's almost exclusively aquatic and/or parasitic, and includes the flukes and tapeworms.
