Hypotonic/Isotonic Solution Question?Hi,
Just hoping someone can help me with this question. I'm stumped and confusing myself reading the same pages over and over. The question is: Water molecules move into a cell, through a selectively permeable membrane when the surrounding solution is... A. Hypertonic B. Hypotonic c.Isotonic D. Supertonic I'm thinking it is either Hypotonic or Isotonic. Hypotonic is usually moving into a cell but Isotonic is in and out with equal concentrations and surrounding the cell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
