Working in Galapagos?

Hi,

I'm studying biology in France. I would like to know if anybody in here has ever worked or heard about/read about people who work in the Galapagos Islands doing biology (of any kind). I'm asking because I am a resident of Ecuador (Galapagos belongs to Ecuador) but the information available is next to nothing. I have no idea how people end up there, I suppose it is through projects organized by international universities. In any case, I would like to work in there in the future so any information about this or similar careers would be appreciated.
