Article section of this website

Postby MichaelXY » Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:47 am

I tried reading some of the articles on this site awhile ago, and discovered that google ads were overlayed on much of the text of the article which made it hopeless to read the full article This was with IE.

I did try an experiement, which was to do the same actions with Firefox and the text and ads were in proper position. So this problem seems to be IE specific. If you do not care about your visitors that use IE then ignore this note.

Thanks

Shame on Google!
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Since the ad does not overlap with Firefox, it is not a Google problem, rather a Webmaster problem sorting out IE issues. Since many user still use IE I would think this problem would have been a concern, but apperently not.

ie is abberrant from almost all other browsers, especially ie6 which even microsoft is trying to kill by pushing the ie8 update. check some popular websites and you'll see they have a ie6 checker code and then an alternate coding...pain the butt.
