Protozoan symbiosis in termites

Postby lgomoll » Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:11 pm

A recently published non-major general biology text refers to the protozoan living in a symbiotic relationship in the guts of termites as bacteria. Can such a reference be made under any stretch of the imagination?

Maybe there are also bacteria in addition to protozoans?
