Comment on this statement " In its simplest sense life is just an organized set of chemical reactions occurring between the functional groups of biologically important macromolecules. "


This is going to be on my exam, so please help!

By our scientific definitions of what we are made of, this is true. Although this process can happen with non living organic molecules, the proper definition of life must include self replication.
