lab experience?hello guys i have a question for you....well because of finances i'm staying close to my house for a year or two depending on finances and i will be transferring to UCF majoring in biotechnology....i emailed many of the professors at the Burnett school of biomedical sciences and they said the biggest thing would be to get lab experience....so i was wondering whats the best place to look for lab experience for research lab....i wouldnt even know where to look im going to volunteer at the local hospital but for research i wouldnt know where to look...
i'd even love to have my college job working in the medical field, but with so many specializations would i be able to find any? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Are there any universities near you where you can enroll in a lab course?

That might be enough to start with. Finding an actual job in a lab is going to be tough, especially in this economy.

I'm not sure about how volunteering would work. Might be worth a try, though.
