B-per GST fusion protein purification

I need to purify GST tagged protein by using B-per reagent from pierce.(I used pGEX2T vector).Is there anyone used this kit? I have used Y-Per reagent before and I have loads of problems. My protein yield was so low. I had also low amount GST band except GST tagged protein on SDS. I don’t want to face with these problems again. I will use this protein to immunize rabbit.
