best digicams for time-lapse microscopy?Does anyone know of sites for sharing information on microscopy issues, such as digital imaging? For example, we want to purchase a new high-sensitivity (low-light) digital camera for doing time-lapse fluorescence microscopy. There are so many options. It would be nice to learn about other scientists real-life experiences with these cameras. If you have a favorite, please list it here. Thanks, in advance.
I used a Carl Zeiss setup with my confocal microscope for years. I am pretty sure you could do some serial time lapse stuff with their products. Check out their website and see if they have anything to fit your fluoresence scope.
anyone else with ideas? ERS
