Translating Locus Tags

I'm really lost here. I have the locus tag RP6-88D7.1 from Hemophilia B and I'm supposed to translate it (say what the letters and numbers stand for.)

The internet was no help on this matter what so ever... :|

Its for a genetics assignment, so we never learned this in class either, its not like I can just look in my notes.
