Essay Topic Suggestions?

Hi, I'm an International Baccalaureate student and as some of you may know, I am required to write ~4,000 word essay. It can be in a variety of subjects, but I choose biology. Simply, I just need some suggestions on what to write about.

Remember, it has to be related to biology. Secondly, it should preferably be something that I myself can collect data for. Also, it should be a topic with a potential for analysis.
