Why pH of abdominal venous blood is not acidic?

Postby Vangeek » Fri Mar 20, 2009 5:01 am

Large amounts of H+ are released into the blood as HCO3 – is excreted into pancreatic juice. Explain why pH of abdominal venous blood is not acidic?
Thanks
