In what solution do cells "swim" in..

Hi!

I just got that question because trying to visualise cells and all their process...in what solution do cells "Swin in"

As for instance, in blood cells...they travel unattached but (as I see it) "swim" in a solution....What is that solution?

and for the other cells...amoung many such as nerve cells, endocrine cells....or anyone else...

thanks! It will help me for my understanding.....THX

the general term for the stuff that is outside of cells is extracellular matrix.

Sorry, it is just this site offers NO interesting topics... it is either young kids asking text book questions or people regurgitating text book material!!

What happened to having discussions that involved thinking outside of the box and developing OUR own theories? I try to make posts to invoke thought but if it is not specified in a text book no one will respond!

I guess I will just move on to another site.

theories are developed based on observation of nature, as an explanation for those observations
those observations are data

perhaps people aren't responding because what seems intellectually stimulating to you may be 'old news' to others or re-stated versions of things heard many times before. just a thought
