Hayflick limit and biochemical substrate

Postby debioc » Thu Mar 05, 2009 9:05 pm

Hayflick limit is consider a reason for cell death. Can this limit be lengthened by nutrient composition.
Examples are antioxidants, vitamins, minerals.

How does the electrical generation of the genetic code affect the limit?

the hayflick limit is caused by telomere shortening. i don't see how any of those would influence it (electrical generation of the genetic code??!?!?!)
