Where can a piezo actuator be used in biology？

Piezo actuator can be controled easyly with resolution of 1nm，and can afford very high force。Such actuator can be used for the positioning of cells or manipulations on a cell using glass needles.
But i haven't used any bioinstruments, so i don't know where the Piezo actuator can really be use? or it potential be used in bioinstrument? thanks all
