Delta G and meI have tried and tried to find the answer to this and am dumbfounded. Although it is probably elementary to most.
The question is: Why is Delta G -686 k/cal per mol of glucose. I do not want the answer directly just a place to go so I can get the answer myself. Please help. Guide oh science GURU's
Re: Delta G and meThe chemical formula for respiration is something like;
C6H12O6 + O2 ----> CO2 + H2O + Energy So the 698Kcal number is not energy used, rather energy created or available.
