Anatomy of human digestive systemAny one can give pH values at various place in our digestive process, and also how much time take to travel an tablet from mouth to posterior colon and rectum.
I want data about length of small intestine and large intestine Thanks sathya
Um...what I know is the pH inside the ventriculus which is about 2 till 2,5.
when it comes to intestinum tenue the pH is raised again at about 6.5 till 8.5 (if my memory serves me right). About the length of small intestine...I think it's about 5 metres and the big one is shorter than that.. Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
The stomach Ph is 1-2.5
The small intestine PH is 7-8.5 The small intestine has ~4-6 meters The big intestine has ~1.5 meters Cheers, Andrew "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
