What do you suppose to do when you were new to the lab?I felt awfully bad today. My boss told me, the other people around the lab complain about me, because I asked too many questions from them. Here is the thing, I'm a new comer to the lab, and know nothing around here, if I'm not going to ask, there might be a big mistake happen. So, I ask, people get mad at me, I don't ask, they still get mad at me. Everytime before I ask them, I aways say:"Do you have any time for me?" ...I really don't know what to do.
Any one have any suggestions?
If possible, don't ask co-workers if they seem the unhelpful sort. But if choosing between screw-up and asking, do ask. Might also be time to bone up on your protocols.
