Urine chloride ions?what happen to the level of urine chloride ions after drinking water?
will it increase or decrease?
see aldosteron mechanism.

sorry... typo.
For aldosterone - remember Cl follows Na "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
Re:
according to my result of this experiment the urine chloride ions drops gradually after drinking water and the volume of urine output increases gradually aldosterone stimulates the collecting ducts to reabsorbed more Na and Cl and secrete more K is that mean after drinking water..... the secretion of aldosterone leads to more Cl retained in the body..so the urine chloride ions drops? but i find out when more Cl are reabsorbed, more water is also reabsorbed by osmosis this doesn't comply with my results i m confused help~here a my results ![]()
considering your results are valid, they are a little strange, but they aren't completely inexplicable since ADH also controls the water in the urine..

Re:
'is that mean after drinking water..... the secretion of aldosterone leads to more Cl retained in the body..so the urine chloride ions drops?' so is this statement true?
