reversion of transitions and transversion

Does anyone encounter the general theory explaining the frequency of reversion for transitions and transversion?
I’m trying to figure out what could be the probability of reversion for C->T transition that I’ve introduced to one of my constructs.
I would appreciate any suggestions or literature references
