Hey there, how r ya doing? Hope everyone is fine. Well, I really need ur help in explaining the role of genetic engineering in treating a blood cancer-patient or even its trial in dealing with this kind of cancer. Actually ‘m required to do a research abt this topic. Thaaaaaanx a lot for ur co-operation :)

Try doing some research on enviornmental versus genetic factors in leukemia. As with many genetic diseases, both of these factors play a role.

Thanx biostudent84, i got some information abt Leukaemia and some related info from the following website, it's interesting to know that mutation (in this case; translocation) in chromosomes could affect seriously in human being; http://www.abpi.org.uk/publications/pub ... ns.asp#top[/u]

couldnt you use the genetic engineering to stimulate the genes that release interferon?
