are box turtles social?I'm thinking about moving our school pet, which is an Eastern Box Tortoise, to place where he will be with several of his own kind (at a local institution called "The Nature Center").
Will this do him any good, or would it be just as nice to him to leave him alone in his cage? Thanks, Matt
Re: are box turtles social?I agree, any turtle (and any animal in general) will be more happy in a more natural environment suited for it. I think you would be making the right decision. Good luck.
The Turtle will most likely feel at home with contact with its own species and Environment.
