simple protein question

what is a fibrous protein? What is a globular protein? What's the difference between them?

(Note: This is not a homework question) The reason I am posting this is because the websites themselves give contradictory answers such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibrous_protein
but my book says that fibrous proteins have only a primary and secondary structure.

Never use Wikipedia as a reference to any academics, it can be changed by people who have no idea what they're talking about.

Your textbook is correct, fibrous proteins have primary and secondary structure.

Globular proteins differ from Fibrous proteins in the fact that in aqueous solutions, globular proteins are more soluble than fibrous proteins, which are practically insoluble.

Also, Globular proteins have tertiary structure.
