What is a mer? Measure of DNAHi, Im new in this forum, i want to know What is a MER

Re: What is a mer? Measure of DNAA polymer has many subunits. An oligomer has a few subunits. A monomer has only one. A number in front of the suffix "mer" indicates a specified number of subunits. When applied to DNA, this specifies the number of bases in the molecules. For example, ACTGGTCGCG is a 10-mer.
