someone asked me this question and didnt know how to reply, could someone please assist with an answer please

the question: suggest a purpose fot stimulating the fused egg with an electric pulse?

I know the answer, but I am afraid this is just a lab report question you don't want to answer. Nevertheless I will give you the answer. If you get a C in the class, it won't be my fault..
