Chem is easier than bio... but bio is more fun...

It's true that No Pain, No Gain. Same as what you have to do in chem.

I found that Chem has less memorization involved... But trickier concepts...

Calculus is a necessary evil. I find it's not as hard as people make it out to be.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

You need a break. Also maybe the way you're studying bio is wrong. It might help to look up different studying techniques.

Biology is a hard subject, with a lot to take it. If you don't understand something, try a different book, where it might explain it better. Also ask lecturers and friends to go over stuff you have trouble gasping. Most importanly don't give up, just keep going over something (between breaks) and learn to write it from memory.

I didn't like it when I took my first unit in microbiology. I don't know why, it just didn't interest me. It took a studentship in the area to turn me around and now I have a BSc and an MSc in it, work in the microbial diagnostics industry and will start a microbiology research project soon.

It's funny how people can radically change......

I suppose I realised what I was missing out on. :)
