Hi I am confused.... I looked at horse blood cell under 40 x magnification with .2%,.8%,1.6% saline solution and I am to draw what I saw and I am confused.... it is the blood cells I am to draw or the cell as a whole????? please help!!!

it's 400x, because you have to factor in the eyepiece.

I think your supposed to draw what the cells look like in different solute concentrations.

For example; did the cell swell up, shrink, or stay the same?

Thanks....
The thing is when viewed under the microscope all I could see were tiny bubles and a few larger ones which I thought were the cells, and a few again looke shrivel, however the lab assistamt said thoses were actually air bublles..and that they were too big to be cells, so my question is that the tiny bubbles I saw did not look any different??????
