Quick Question on my notes (Chromosomes and Chromatin)

Our teacher kind of goes all over the place when giving notes, and some of my notes are out of order...
Just want a little help to try and fix a few things.

One part of the notes states that Cells are in 2 states (dividing or not dividing)
I have Chromosomes under dividing and Chromatin under not dividing... Is this correct or did I just butcher my notes =P.

Chromatin is a complex combination of DNA and protein. Chromosomes become visible when a cell is undergoing mitosis. Correct me if I'm wrong.
