Kit DNA mutation detection

Hi,
I have to use the surveyor kit of transgenomic to detect mutation in my DNA( genome of 10kb), I would like to know if there is not another and more simple way to do that.I made mutant in the genome,and I have to be sure of the mutation place(the mutation chosen) and if there are not another mutation(mutation no chosen).
