Jeez, what's the point in arguing. It's not like one person is going to convince everyone to accept how they believe. That's what makes humans interesting, we have the right to debate and choose what we want to follow. I say let all things that are literal be taken literally and for all other things choose to believe what you want; i'm not going to change your mind anyway.

Yep, it really is no use reasoning with people who shun Darwin's, logical, well reasoned theory —that life on earth developed slowly over billions of years through gradual evolution through natural selection and instead want to beleive that an all powerful being who watches over all of us and everything all the time, created all life on earth in a few days.
I also wonder— When the Crocodile hunter says things like-- this animal has evolved spines to protect it from preditors-- Do Christians jump up and turn the TV off? Are they afraid that all the references to evolution on the Nature Channel will turn their kids against creationism? Or when the narrator on a nature show says something like: Domestic Dogs evolved from Wolves -- do they jump up and get all upset and write letters.

I thing Behe does that @James That is exactly what i believe "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
YEP...GOD'S THE ULTIMATE SCIENTIST...WE HUMANS ARE ONLY STUMBLING NOW INTO HIS "INCREDIBLE BOX OF TOOLS"
OH YEAH, in the originally posted thread...some dude was saying that "christians outside the USA can accept both evolution and creationism.." I'm a Christian. I live in the USA... I believe that GOD used any means at his disposal, as he pleases, to create the world. If evolution was one...then it was. What's the big deal? And yes, Americans can be liberal. The crappy thing about being a USA citizen is that we have an insane president...and then the world thinks of what our execs. are doing when they think of "an american."
sorry. not insane; he's definately not literally crazy. i meant...well i don't know another word for it.
