Please help...I'm completely confused????Can anyone please explain how I can write down the difference in how glucose & fructose are absorbed from the small intestine when treated with respiratory inhibitor
I know that Mitochondria produces ATP through respiration....Does glucose use active transport & fructose use diffusion....I can't see the wood for the tree's now that I've confused myself so much!!
yes, you're on the right track. Glucose uses a system classified as secondary active transport, and fructose uses a permease (does not require ATP)
