Re: argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating
Yes,there is a very simple way of knowing that. Check their website. They believe it ver batum.
If you had bothered to study the history of literacy at all, you would find that it is in fact the exception rather than the rule. The vast majority of cultures that have existed throughout history have had no knowledge of writing. The dominance of writing today is largely due to the more advanced cultures spreading their technologies around the globe and imposing them on less-developed cultures.
Explain how so; it makes perfect sense to me. Fact: Writing was first developed about 4,000 years ago. Fact: That is when written history begins. Strange coincidence, wouldn't you say?
This makes about as much sense as arguing that if I have a BS degree, then my father had to have an MS and my grandfather had to have a PhD, and my son will only obtain an AS while his son will be lucky to graduate from high school, because intelligence is doomed to decline as time progresses. Maybe those aliens of yours also taught evolutionary theory to the Greeks. Good thing they didn't teach them about high-speed internet connections, though. Surely if the internet was such a good idea, those brainy Greeks would've thought of it first, wouldn't you say? Whew! Big thanks on that one! Lucky for me you're here to convince me that the internet is one giant hoax, just like global warming. That crazy Al Gore!
It's called the modern synthesis. Look it up.
You're confusing evolution with intelligent design again.
Practice what you preach, mon ami. Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Who is "they"?? And how does what "they" say make it a simple way of knowing that?? Sounds like that is how you define all your beliefs... by what "they" say. Do some critical thinking young man.
Re: argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating
Your answer to my reply that evolutionist claim man gets more intelligent as he 'evolves'... you need to read more carefully and not put your own preconceived ideas of what is being said into the statement.
Re: argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating
Based on lies, half truths and not very well thought out assumptions.
Re: argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating
Almost your best answer yet... you may want to think on that one some more.
Re: argument against the uranium-in-zircon dating
The Answers in Genesis website, dude, the very group who wrote the article that started this entire discussion. I never said I believed a word they said; in fact if you did some critical thinking, you would notice that all my statements in this discussion have been to debunk everything they have said.
You said a mouthful there.
Let me explain something to you. This is a science forum. Science works on evidence. If you are so convinced that the entire scientific community is engaged in a massive cover-up to deceive humanity, go ahead and show us your evidence. Without evidence, everything you say is just a bunch of bull. Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.
