Counting plant mitochondriaHello!
Does anyone now an easy method of counting extracted plant mitochondria? I would need en exact number of the mitochondria that I extracted. I don't have conditions for Flow cytometry and I'm also not interested in proteins to use Bradford assay. I'm thinking about plase contrast microscopy. Could anyone give me a protocol about the treatment that I have to use for this (dyes, steps). Is there a chemical that could make them bigger? So they would be more easy to count? Thank you in advance!
