WormsOk, I'm new here and I currently take bio 10 at my school. We're studing worms. This isn't a homework question, I just have to understand Aortic Arches and what they are, but I can't find anything on the internet or in my text book at all. I found something on frogs but I don't know if it differs in worms. any help/links would be great. thanks!
the aortic arches carry blood from the dorsal blood vessel to the ventral blood vessel (I found it in wikipedia & I believe this is correct)
But I thought these are worms' hearts & I wasn't wrong! I found this in a website I guess may help you: "The aortic arches are commonly called the hearts of the worm." This link can be useful:http://animals.howstuffworks.com/worms/earthworm-info.htm
