Just meant that it is absolutely, dreadfully, utterly insane to make 3 movies about a whale named Willy. lol

I only watched the first one. I figured there is no way that you can make a good movie as a sequal to that thing...

Hey...I've gotten the whale that I'm talking about...orca is not the only tooted whale...orca have a 9 metres long. There is a bigger toothed whale which is called 'Sperm whale' (sound funny huh??). its length is 18 metres long...Beside those two, there are 'Belugas' with 4.5 m length and 'Narwhal' with 5 m length. (Narwhal is the only horned whale with 1.8 m for their horns).

All of them are toothed whale..

Killer whales are orcas

Postby Jass » Tue Nov 01, 2005 3:31 am

Killer whale is the common name for orca (Orcinus orca is the scientific name). They are actually the largest dolphin species. There are three types of orca. Not much is knows of the Offshore Orca (offshore, meaning they stay in deeper waters most of the time). Transient orcas are the true 'killer' whale, they hunt and eat mammals like seals, sea lions, and porpoises. I have never heard of a transient eating a person, although there was a story out of Alaska this summer of a transient bumping a boy that was wading in the shallows. Transients have also been known to chase deer and moose along the shorline. Residents, the third type of orca, are fish eaters (mostly salmon). I'm not sure about the offshore orca, but the transients and the residents have not bred with each other for over 10,000 years.
