Can someone please help me identify a plant in my garden

I just Moved in to my new house and I found this plant its leaves are long like that of a tulip and the bloom is pink and then it has small little blooms under each peddle the smaller blooms a purple and look like a violets

Its definitely a pretty flower, but I don't know what it is...
A given location may help guesses if it grew wild, but if it's planted that would be harder. Have you looked into any books on plant species (if you have some lying around)?

i live just out side of Tallahassee ,Fl. .. it was growing when i moved in ... and I don't have any books at all on flowers .. thank you very much for your help my God bless you ..
