can someone please explain When using a manual sphygmomanometer you would also use a stethoscope. I'm trying to explain what i'm am listening for and to describe what i would hear . So far i'm up . to Listen for the rythem of the heart beat. A normal heartbeat makes a lub-dup sound. This sound is created when the heart tissue vibrates , it is pushed against the heart valves and bounces back. In the case of stress, stress can raise heartbeat rates, you would be listening for an increase in the heart rate to determine stress.
Rhythm and timing
Can you elaberate, or put me right, its a brain teaser.

You put the steth next to the arm strap, not the heart/chest.
