Suggestion

Postby MichaelXY on Thu Feb 28, 2008 1:02 am

I vote the Google ads be placed back on the right side like they were. The look now is just funky, I am not sure why. One thing I have also experienced is that when I click a forum page, my graphics seem to hiccup for a moment, this just occured since the side change and I do not see the problem on other websites. I even tried restarting my PC.

Unfortunately us mods do not have superpowers like that. But the admin will be notified, when he logs on.

How do you add these extensions? They come as an xpi file.

Hmm, Maybe I am a tard. I Downloaded Adblock plus, but I still get the ads. I am able to delete the ads for a session but when I reconnect they are back.

Funny when I installed it, it offered me the possibility to subscribe to some lists that took care of 90% of the ads, then for the remainder I just right click and add a filter, and it's gone.

I must say I also have No script installed that help get rid of quite a lot of nasty things, including some adds.

I've noticed that the graphics hiccup for a moment on the school system as well. They won't get anuthing like firefox much less add blockers.
