Ok, i am not a science expert or anything just wondering a simple question. How do you or what causes you to lose your voice.

Not really my department, but if the vocal chords are inflamed, they can't vibrate properly and if they don't vibrate, your voice won't sound right. In the extreme, the vocal chords can hardly vibrate at all and you've "lost" your voice altogether.
