A recently separated friend sniffed at the idea of a whole 600 words on the subject.

No, men are not necessary. They're actually totally useless, at least that's what my wife keeps saying.

But worry not, my fellow wastes of space and good food: as we are now officially obsolete, we can fully concentrate on what we do best: lay on the couch, drink beer and watch sports. And for some curious reason, even if we are of no use, plenty of women seem to want to have one of us next to them. Maybe because it is fun to have a near-extinct animal that you can cuddle up to now and then.

And when the time comes that men are gone for good, I sure as hell am glad to be gone as well, for who could bear to live in a world full of PMS-suffering women catfighting one another every day, when there is nobody to balance out their mood swings?!
