RespirationAs part of my science coursework i'm doing an experiment on how temperature affects the rate of reaction in mung beans, and i had a few questions.
1) Are there any differences in the mitochondria of mung beans compared to mammalian mitochondria? 2)Are there any different enzymes involved in plant respiration? 3)Are mung beans able to respire anaerobiaclly? 4)How does a respirometer work? If anyone is able to answer these questions then this would be very helpful on my behalf. Thanks, Jamie
the answers to the first two questions can be found by reading about mitochondria practically anywhere, for example here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondria
For the third one you have to do the lab(or read about it somewhere else). I don't know what mung beans are. For the fourth, look up respirometer, for example here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Respirometer "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
Re: RespirationDo you think you could expand slightly on this?
