Being able to put in LaTeX function would be cool. Maybe this is too hard to do, but it would be handy.

Well, it gives the ability to write math formulas as they should be written, and also good for using subscripts used in equations. I knew this idea was a longshot, but I thought I would throw the idea out there.

Here is an example output.

It is great for writing chemical formulas. Like H2SO4 with correct subscript. The more I think about the more I realize it is a silly idea.

It might be complicated, but I know that BBcode (the language that is used on the forum) can add superscript and subscript. It could be useful.

Perhaps a good idea would be to provide a description or a link to a description of how BBcode works, as I don't know how many of our users understand it. Having a sort of "BBcode 101" available might help a lot of users.

In fact you all know it, since you are all able to use italics, bold etc. those are just the codes you put between brackets. But unless [sub]I am mistaken[/sub] specific codes need to be activated by the admin to allow some formatting. They should then appear in the formatting area of the message box.

EDIT: see the sub code does not work...

I still think a description might be helpful as it confused me at first and might confuse others as well.
