Let's say Australians and Chinese people share the same facial expressions in terms of happiness, being content and sadness.
Is that because of genetics or culture?

Well, just from observing how babies smile when they are happy, I would guess genetic.

Doesn't smiling trigger certain endorphins that cause a person to feel happier?
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Is the act of smiling and showing one's teeth saying "i'm not going to bite you - i wish to be friendly"? Is this an accepted theory that I read somewhere?

I think he means to say that his fist determines facial expressions.

Face expression is just like the screen of a computer, which dispaly all the activities of the programs of the computer.
It is a must for a member of the symbiotic or social aggregate of human. Otherwise, human can not survive long, at least in ancient times.
